That is the real fucking question, isn’t it?! I have a hard time DNFing a book. DNF stands for “did not finish,” and some people are really good at letting titles go. I am, unfortunately, not one of those people. I have this compulsion to finish what I start. Ugh, most of the time in one sitting or day. It’s dumb, but I HATE leaving books unfinished, even if they suck. 🤬

I just finished one that I didn’t really enjoy. I won’t say which one, but it’s by a popular author and is a bestseller. I slogged through it. The FMC really grated on my nerves, and the emotional baggage was childish and just irritated me. But did I DNF the title? No. Because I’m fucking weak and can’t let a title go unread once I start. Usually, the only stories that I can DNF are novellas and short reads. It’s like I haven’t invested enough time or mental bandwidth to care as much if I don’t finish the story, you know?

I don’t know. What are your thoughts? Do you DNF titles or not? 🧐
